Broken Sacrum

A Broken Sacrum is a type of  pelvic fracture. The Sacrum is the wedge-shaped bone consisting of five fused vertebrae forming the posterior part of the pelvis; its base connects with the lowest lumbar vertebra and its tip with the coccyx.

Broken Sacrums are not common and are caused mostly from car accidents, a blow from behind or osteoporosis.
