Foot stress fractures
A stress fracture happens in your foot when muscles become fatigued and are unable to absorb added shock. Eventually, the fatigued muscle transfers the overload of stress to the bone causing a tiny crack called a stress fracture.
There are many bones in your foot that can receive a stress fracture. The most common are in the Metatarsals, Cuboid and Calcaneus. |
