Pelvis stress fracture definition
The pelvis is a basin-shaped structure composed of two large bones on the sides which rests on the lower limbs and supports the spinal column.
A pelvis stress fracture happens when muscles become fatigued and are unable to absorb added shock. Eventually, the fatigued muscle transfers the overload of stress to the bone causing a tiny crack called a stress fracture.
