Stress fractures spine

Most stress fractures happen in the feet or the lumbar area of the spine. The spine is devided into 3 areas the lumbar is the lower back, the thoracic is the middle back and the largest section and the cervical is the neck area.

Stress fractures can happen in the spine when muscles become fatigued and are unable to absorb added shock. Eventually, the fatigued muscle transfers the overload of stress to the bone causing a tiny crack called a stress fracture.
